AMPO Annual Conference 2018
The Association of Metropolitan Planning Organizations (AMPO) Annual Conference was held September 24th-28th, 2018 at the Westin Riverwalk in San Antonio, TX.
On Thursday, September 27th, EDR Group's Cecilia Viggiano presented on "Return on Active Transportation and Practical Approaches to Transit Investment and Prioritization." This session featured the Utah Transit Authority’s study on the economic impacts and benefits of active transportation to the region served by the Wasatch Front Regional Council and the Massachusetts Bay Area’s collaboration in updating transit prioritization scoring to better reflect statewide workforce needs.
