
We are offering a part-time paid Intern or Research Assistant position to students interested in half-time work during the school year and/or full-time work during the summer.
The position is to work as part of a project team on data research and data analysis. Assignments include web searching and data acquisition , use of spreadsheet tools for investigating economic, urban development and transportation patterns and trends, use of statistical tools and database tools for analysis of surveys and industry datasets, and writing of memos summarizing the findings.
The ideal candidate is a graduate student in economics, urban/regional planning, public policy or transportation planning. The position requires a person with strong skills in economic and statistical data analysis, as well as English writing. Experience with Word, Excel and SPSS (or other statistical analysis programs) is required. Experience with Access is also desirable.
Applicants who are currently in Graduate school should specify whether they are seeking to work half-time during the academic year, or full time during the Summer, or both.

Pay $18/hour
