Cuyahoga County Airport Environmental Assessment

In conjunction with the Cuyahoga County Airport Environmental Assessment, and under subcontract to Mead and Hunt, EDR Group assessed the ongoing impacts of the Cuyahoga County Airport (CGF) to the economies of Cuyahoga and Lake Counties, Ohio. The economic analysis encompassed three classes of aviation-related activities: (a) on-airport aviation activities, (b) off-airport visitor spending activities, and (c) other off-airport aviation-dependent activities. EDR Group designed a survey for businesses that base aircraft at CGF to estimate the contribution of the airport to off-airport business activity in the region, administered its linear regression to estimate visitor spending per GA visitor and assembled data on airport activity through the airport manager, local land use information and related studies.
