Massachusetts Statewide Freight Plan

EDR Group, as a subcontractor to HDR Engineering, privided economic analysis and development impact assessment for a comprehensive evaluation of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' freight transportation system and its effect on economic development and quality of life within Massachusetts. This analysis included a thorough review of the Commonwealth's freight transportation infrastructure; the freight sector's operations and demands on the transportation system; state, regional, national and international freight trends and influences; the freight sector's strengths, opportunities and challenges; and a policy and investment agenda for state government, local government, and private industry.
