Michigan State Rail Plan

michiganrail

EDR Group, under subcontract to HNTB, developed an economic analysis of commodity flows, movements of goods, and cross-border trade patterns for the Michigan State Rail Plan. EDR Group also prepared an analysis of the economic impacts of the proposed rail plan, and developed a benefit cost analysis of alternatives proposed under this plan. This analysis included an assessment of the conditions and trends faced by rail –dependent industries in Michigan, and an assessment of the role that rail will play in the economic future of the state. TREDIS was used to evaluate the economic impacts and develop the BCA for this project.
