Emerging International "Green" Standards

The Costs of Non-Compliance - Emerging International "Green" Standards, 2008

EDR Group staff served on an expert panel to examine emerging international standards for "green" products and manufacturing processes. CleanTech, an initiative of the University of Massachusetts' Lowell Center for Sustainable Production, is focusing on clean energy, toxic use reduction, materials reuse, green buildings and emerging materials.

EDR Group is developing a qualitative matrix of the types of benefits that can flow from any of these clean technologies. This work will start with a case study of the costs of non-compliance with emerging international procurement standards.
